



FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How do you choose the music you play?
We play exactly the kind of music you want us to play. You may give us genres of music you like (or don’t like), or give us a playlist. You may pick songs from a printout of our huge music library. Or, you may simply leave it to us to show up and create a lively music-filled party.
Can we meet with you ahead of time to plan the event?
Of course! All of our services come with unlimited pre-show DJ consultation. We can meet in person or via phone/email. We will happily work with you on the planning of the music and the flow of the event as much (or as little) as you choose, to make sure that every detail is exactly as you want it to be.
What if we want to work with a party/wedding/event planner?
We are happy to coordinate our services with the event planner of your choice.
How does payment work?
We will ask for a deposit of $100 to reserve your event. The balance is due no later than eight days prior to the day of the event. For last minute bookings, please call for payment information. Check, cash, or money orders are acceptable.
What if we need to cancel?
If you need to cancel for ANY REASON, you will receive a refund of your deposit up until 30 days before the event. For cancellations within a week of the event, there is no refund of the balance. For open-air events that are cancelled on the day of the event due to inclement weather, your deposit is forfeited. You will, however, receive a credit of the balance toward a future event.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use all-digital mixers that run our extensive music library. We can bring up to 2200 watts of sound with Behringer powered speakers and a powered subwoofer. The DJ and anyone wanting to make a speech or announcement use Gemini wireless microphones. Some examples of our lighting effects (FREE with all packages) are a rotating mirror ball, seven-color Tri-LED spots, and a Revo III LED large moonflower effect that can fill a dance floor with multi-colored, animated lights.
What will the DJ wear to my event?
The DJ will dress as you wish, in either a tuxedo, suit, or casual wear.
How does tipping work?
If you are happy with the DJ’s performance, tips are welcome and appreciated.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry a property/general liability policy. We are registered as a Limited Liability Corporation with the State of Connecticut and do business in both CT &
Massachusetts.
